Should I buy jandas applications of no limit holdem, or play the player by ed miller. I play .02/.05 games currently. I know the consensus is exploitative works at micro better. But I want to learn gto for a base to exploit from. I play exploitative okay, but can lose cash without hand histories some.

Honestly, I think both those authors are out of date.

Maybe 'The Grinders Manual' by Peter Clarke. Also good low limit vids at somewhere like DeucesCracked.

Janda's Applications of NLHE is absolutely one of the best poker books I have ever read and I can't recommend it enough. I consider it a must read. The concepts are all still very relevant in my opinion. Since they center around theory, they really help your strategic game.

I haven't read Play the Player, but will check that out.
