Jacks can be tricky because if you push them hard the only hands you will get action from are aces, kings or queens,AK, AQ or maybe KQ, these are the types of hands that you should be wary of if the board comes up with even one high card, but you can always make a standard continuation bet and hopefully take the pot down. It would also help if you had a good read on your opponents which would make your decisions alot easier. The other way to play it is to treat it as a drawing hand and just call to try and flop a set which happens 1 out of 7.5 times, but with a pair as strong as jacks i wouldnt reccomend it, only in certain situations.
Usually you should try and play your hand according to the table. So if your opponents are weaker or looser play it strong. But if their tighter and stronger players you should play it more cautiously.
