Hi guys,

Ive been lurking about these forums now for a while just decided to sign up now. Ive been playing on pokerstars for a little over a year now and gone BUSTO a few times. Mainly due to bankroll management errors and losing a $1076 pot with AA to 22 that hit trips in a game I had my whole bankroll staked! Anyway around 4 months ago I deposited a small amount and have been grinding 0.01/0.02 and 0.02/0.04. I built my bankroll up to $300 before moving up to 0.05/0.10 yesterday!

Feels good to be climbing the stakes once again and I am feeling my play has greatly improved. My bankroll now stands at $370 and I am very happy with the way things are moving.

So... Anyone any tips for beating 0.05/0.10 consistently?! :) Im currently playing 2 table zoom just to get a feel for the level and keep learning along the way. I personally feel on top of the world for just making it this far, I know these stakes for some of you guys are so low you wouldnt even bother playing them but right now im on cloud 9! The ultimate goal is to be rolled for 0.25/0.50 with the occasional table of 0.50/1

Anyway just thought I would introduce myself and say hey!....... Im heading back to the tables :)

I'm in a very similar position to you: I've got a $350 bankroll on Stars and I'm currently 2-tabling 10NL Zoom. Also, my aim is to be able to grind 100NL by the end of this year.

Let's keep each other updated. Good luck!

There really is no strategy to "Win" the microstakes games ... except to just keep GRINDING IT OUT !!

One thing i like about ACR/BCP, is that they have a 0.01, 0.02 game, where you can buy in as little as 0.08 cents ... and there is a 0.60 cent MAX !! so if you have $1.00 and go all in ... even if you lose you will still have $0.40.

My biggest problem is the fear that i will lose a big chunk of my bankroll on bad luck ... so at least this minimizes that possibility a little bit.

keep up the good work, and im sure i will see you at the higher stakes very very soon !! Good luck !!

Hey Sammc

Sound like you are using great bankroll management and congratulations on moving up to NL 10.

I was playing NL 5 Zoom was winning on a regular basis and moved up to NL 10 went on a heater and then lost a bit of money to variance and a slight tilt day.

I suggest you keep playing 2 tables when I tried to open 4 I found I wasn't playing as consistent and was making bad plays.
