I'm a tournament player but try to play cash games sometimes. And have a question about blind stealing - when is it worth it in cash games? Some crazy players often do it regardless of their position and quality of hands and etc. Is it just aggressive playing or the art of blind stealing (or foolishness, maybe)?

Blind stealing is less important in cash than tourneys. The blinds don't go up, so no need to steal for the sole purpose of staying afloat. That said, there's no reason to pass up on a chance for some extra cash :)

I don't have a rule of thumb on it. But if it folds to me and I have a decent hand, I'll try to steal the blinds. But I need to have something that is at least playable. In a tourney, the situation may dictate a steal with any 2 cards, that doesnt happen in cash games.

I'll test the waters early. If the blinds are tight players I'll do it often. If they call they will have a small of range of cards. Also, I will C bet and see if they will fold easily.

There is no urgency in a ring game so do not steal blinds just because you feel like you have to, steal them because you know you can, and try to steal when you are at optimun position.

don't just steal blinds to steal them because you could use a few more chips haha wait for position and the right hand and study your opponents so you know the right time and who to steal from

Cash games is very different style of game tournaments, waiting to fly only good hands you will see your money go into space. Stealing blinds is only one action to impose the game.

Do not only do it to the tight players that fold, do it to the passive players that do not like to go to showdown. They will call preflop, then fold flop or turn a lot. They donk or lead out since they are passive, you know you need a really good hand to stay in. While it is a bit more risk, these guys are like cash machines as they are calling way too much then folding.

Simple answer - Long term it is definitly profitable to steal blinds, set-up your hud with stats about your opponents tendencies to defined their blinds - and exploit them whenever you see the opportunity :)

I still blinds only at the end of tournaments, or at any heads-up game.

blinds dont go up and there is no money bubble in cash games. so for that reason I think stealing in cg's should be done less than in tourneys.
but when the spot is right, you should not let a opportunity pass by ofcourse

The texture board in poker give you adventage against your opponent if the blind stealing strategy does not work at first

If you have a HUD this is really easy, you steal from players who have a lot of fold to steal. If the resteal a lot, better not steal them. Also, restealing is very important. If you are on BB or sb and the player stealing steals a lot the blinds and has a lot of fold to resteal I will 3bet any2. Lets say he folds 85% of the time to a resteal, 3betting any2 is profitable, until he adapts.

blind stealing always happen at pre-flop.
Sometimes it is no matter about position or quality of hand.
Most of it depend on bankroll 、re-buyable and player attitude.
Lower buy-in poker games and freeroll should find this kind of player most.
That is because "low cost"

Blind stealing is more reasonable at tourneys compared to cash.

If he does it often, then we have to stand and have to check him up.

A number of things you want you want to look for.

fold % to 3bet
Limpers generally means bad players and have a problem with their hand.

Dry boards K 2 3.. Just think the likelihood someone has hit it what range could they been holding?

Generally if you have 1 raiser and a few flat callers. A squeeze is a good steal tactic.

pressure

imo from my experiences in cash someones usually trying to needle someone when they keep raising certain people's big blinds, they know they're low on chips, sure an extra 3-7 dollars is good for anyones stack money is money but they typically will do it to more emotional or tilting players better players can easily outplay.
