Does anyone have any tips for getting someone to re-raise you pre-flop when you have premium hand? It's not too hard to get someone to go .35-.40 from the blinds when you go to .15 from the button since it looks like an automatic steal (for a lot of players) when you're the first in the pot, but it seems harder to get raised when raising from EP or MP. Limping just gets a lot of callers. Min and standard raises from EP/MP seem to scare most people out of the hand. I've seen more than a couple people shove their $5 in when they have AA/KK just hoping to get a call from an AK or lower pocket pair. I'm playing 5NL rush. Thoughts?

Try a 2.5BB bet, or even a min raise.

It all depends on who you're up against. The problem is in rush poker if someone is reraising you big, there is a good chance he has you beat. I would just make a standard raise. I'm not sure most players see a minraise as a sign of strength, but I could be wrong.

In my experience minraises are usually strong and I think "implied odds?"

UTG limp or minirais, MP 0.15 or 0.20, CO and D 0.15, only AA and KK
