But I have a huge urge to keep play. I should stop right?
Should I play threw it or is that just petrol on the fire?

Spend the time your not playing on analysing your hands? or Reading up.

You don't have to be playing to be improving.

WAS on a good run then had my AA and KK busted multiple times like a ratio 1/6 so I have decided time to rest FTP.

Still running good on Carbon will stick there for awhile and just play out my 8 tournament MTOPs on Tilt then rest it there.

Suggest OP do the same continuing will tilt you worse believe me!

When I was on tilt I took a week off from playing any poker, I did carry on studying.

I came back feeling refreshed and it did help my game.

You should join the leagues that they run here as this can help your game as you will playing better players than the donks you find at your table who raise with air. I know the league games have helped me :)

I personally try to Think outside the box if im tilting I've learnt to call myself a donkey only donkeys tilt - I say to myself are you a poker player or do you want to be a loser Tilt is mental weakness,

Never Ever think, im good enough to win im just playing bad.
EVERY single one of us have to keep training to get better this is a sport, if you were a boxer you couldn't step in the ring and fight without putting yourself through intense training, the same applies to beating poker continuously players are getting better and better

If you have a poker book dont just read it study it, learn every definition of every game section. and read that book 10 times then do the same on the next book, watch your videos 4,5,6 times you want to become a lean mean poker machine

As it happens I tilted.... this week (very dissapointed) The last two days I've been involved in 12 flush draws and only seen one come off and also seen some questionable bad beats, at one point I'm adamant the card sequence was waiting for me to get knocked out, i kept folding and folding big stack, players kept swapping stacks then i got dealt monster hands and took painful badbeats,
then went to the cash table hit nut flush and runner runner 5's full house , and lost to bigger sets twice

I went on raging the sites rigged etc etc , as we sometimes do Lol.
then reassured myself that, your whole cards only matter at showdown

i have 5 dollars of my 37 bank roll left. ive only been playing premium hands and c-betting when i have something or lots of outs. its not working.

should i just do a sng to get some money back? im 5 dollars down from my original investment, and i am not busting out!!!! i played in a free roll and stormed it, made a deep run into the last 50 of 990.

whats happening to me?

oh yeah, played qj, and missed on the flop of 10,2,5 so i folded. then jj comes out.

then 3 hands later with 2 cent to call q4 off, i fold and the board is 34449.

not to mention my aces get cracked by 4s, and my K's by 9's

i feel like the biggest moaner on here, but i dont understand how i can run this badly after just last week doubling my bankroll.

MY HEAD IS GOING TO POP!

im quitting for a bit.

Just calm down. Tilt is tilt. You can play more hands so that you will forget the bat beats.

I'm not the best person to give advice since I done that many times, but take a break and don't play for a couple of days. When I have to do that, I usually don't do anything related to poker, but some persons take this break to study the game.

Turned my slump around and now back on track.

Try reading The Poker Mindset. A book called Sway is also good...

Has helped me plenty.

A tilt from a bad run happens to almost of us. the best is stop playing, giving a break, when fell better, analyze the mistakes/loses and the biggest pot that have won . if at NL4 there are too much callers, it woulda be better to play more tight.

I play 18 tables at the same time, so i dont see the bad beats, i check them out after the session, then I dont go on tilt.
