So, my vpip pfr is 27/18. 3bet/f3bet 8/38. C bet fcbet 59/**33** wsd/w 39/45. I call c bets too much. And my vpip, "Which is admitidly high" is 9 percent trailing. Note, my net is 81 and this is only .7k hands. Arguably I'm calling 3 bets too often, but I don't want to just lay down either. My main problem is I float too much post flop, and call to much pre flop. Stereotypical calling station. So I just need to tighten my calling range by 5 percent to drop my vpip to 22 percent? I think that would fix a huge part of my leaks.

Does your range adjust to position? The earlier your position, the tighter it should be. And yes, your stats read somewhat fishy imho. Tightening up is a good idea.

I don't think u should be tighten or looser ,whatever!just work upon your hand chart to determine for yourself how range u could use on certain position and vs certain opponent if u would have some notes or stats on him!gl buddy!grab that cash!)

Hypothetically it is. Realistically I'm probably too loose in early position. I tried expereminting and cleared my stats. Started over. I also read range calculator. My goal is to play 22 to 25 at the button and cutoff. 16-21 in middle and around 10-15 early. I played two separate games in those ranges and noticed immediate results. I will be studying and memorizing the range calculator for each position. I've also noticed my post flop decision making was easier. Another concern was my calling tendencies after the flop. I need to fold to bets. I agree my stats look fishy. I think the issue is I don't have my ranges memorized.

I think I need to examine my own pre flop raising range first. I need to be able to play game theory optimal before I try exploiting someone else's weaknesses.

Now my stats for 400 hands are roughly 21/18 vpip pfr. I'm folding a lot more post, and c betting a little less. Maybe cbet/fcbet 40/60.

I'm a stats person but equally I think it's important not to get too hung up on the absolute numbers. Some players if their post flop abilities are good can get away with that style of poker. You have to look at the individual floating situations and analyse whether they were right decisions or just floating because that's what people sometimes do.

Because really I have no idea, about these things, I'm trying mind you, but asking me would not be a good thing.

The guy who maybe could help you is Doug Polk look for him on you tube he is really nice and answers questions.

Study your ranges and keep on studying. You will start to see the spots that you can be a profitable station.

This. I recently learned im just more of a lag. My post flop stats like aggression and wtsd just work better. Aq is such a pretty hand it's hard to fold. My only issue is I'm too aggressive post flop now and stab a bit too much. Other than my stab rate, I'm pretty solid post flop. My fold rates are about correct, so it's too much raising.
