If your not playing a hand do you still get credit for rake?

Dont play many cash games at all so always wondered if your not playing a certain hand does rake only count for those involved in hand? what if you was a blind?
Sorry if this is a dumb question

If you are talking about rake-back or reward programs, then most poker sites distribute rewards between those players, who contributed to the pot. So loose players earn more rake-back than nits, which in my opinion is completely fair.

Yeah ok i get that but just wasnt totally sure. the question was for a few things. Like needing to get a certain amount of points to release or just earning points at a site
