The cash games are for advanced players I think.Beginers must stay away from those tables or your money will disappear.

You just have to learn how to read players at the table, it is not so difficult, there is always the option of losing a lot of money, but if you do you can win bn much, slowly it is getting better

Everyone has bad days, the main thing is not to lose heart. Learn, practice and everything will be fine.

Bad luck happens in all forms of poker. Not sure how your hand went with AA, but the simple fact is that any hand can and does lose. I actually think that online cash games can be more profitable on a day-to-day basis than tourneys, but you definitely have to be disciplined. If you're having a run of bad luck, it's important to stop playing sooner rather than later, and try agin later, or another day.

On the other hand, if you're talking about a live cash game, from what I've heard, they are definitely not for the faint of heart. Sounds like they attract maniacs.

But at the same time the only way to really learn is to jump in there, study of course but hop in the game too. You can't really cut your teeth in tournament poker if you are ever trying to step up your cash game in my opinion. The blinds are fixed, and players are looking to exploit their position more often because of this and abuse players with bad pre-flop hand selections, whereas in tournaments a lot of descisions are made for you preflop especially later-on.

But I agree cash games online can be pretty intense. I remember when I first deposited a year and half ago and got called down with Ace high in a .01/.02 game...yeah pretty eye opening

Wen ppl get AA they become blind to the board obviously alot of times AA will b good but I see ppl pushing all In after the flop has come. 8910 or KK9 or even 3 cards the same suit. AA is only the nuts preflop I tell u this from experience I have lost a good few pots with AA.

Unfortunately leaving with AA can cause a state of euphoria but not always it will win.

It's the same for me, but the point is, if you don't have the bankroll, or let's say, enough money in the background to enter several times again, don't do it!!!Just yesterday I tried to win 15 hands with 5c BB, the buy in is 5$, my bonus was 5$. I won 3 hands by stealing and the first betting round I was out, lost KK against JJ. Party over. Or you get lucky from the beginning and have the session of your life with 5$, just flip the coin

Common man - you got this ! Study.. then play . A GREAT first book to check out is play poker like the pros by Phil Hellmuth- that will keep you from playing the junk starting hands that you may be playing now..

I decided for a long time for myself that I will not go to the cash game. There are more chances to lose than to win.

cash games are also not for me)) I played in the cache a bit and realized that I do not have that endurance and desire to wait for good hands. In a cache you need to soberly assess the situation and appreciate the bankroll

I paid and lost too, I was very taken aback. I wanted to play for real money, but what I learned was bad games and I can say for sure, before playing, I play a lot of free games. Tournaments with free all and others bring good lessons.

Elton is absolutely correct. Cash games are super predatory, you can lose a lot quickly but can't make that much or a large amount though you can make a steady amount long term.

if you thought that the cash game is an ATM and it's enough to just come and have money in your pocket then I'm sorry for you but that does not mean that the cash game is worse than others ...

that advanced player in cash game was a fish to in theyr first attemp before they are being a profitable player now. dont go away becouse u lose once bro.if u wanna be good in cash game then stay there and learn. every poker player bankroll and win rate graphic is up and down and always will be like that. specialy if u have good money to spend then play in low stack just to learn (training) and earn the skill and maybe someday u can make living from cash game. good luck on your journey. As I see, most players, like me, know what losses in cash games. There simply is difficult to stop. You always want to return the lost bankroll. However, this is quite difficult. What brings you out of the state of psychological balance.

No way Jose.. For beginners, that book is awesome- it teaches the basics on how to decide what to play, and how to come into a pot. It also teaches how to read the types of players you may be facing. What is more important than this? What did you NOT LIKE about the book? I'd love to hear some examples
