Don’t worry it if you still have fun with poker.
Try sit n go , Good for practice poker.
Agreed!
It HAS TO BE fun!
If you're just in it for the money, reconsider the entire thing, because if you're not having fun at it, you need to ask why you are even playing.
Don't be so hard on your self. Its a tough game. We are all still learning. Just remember to practice good habits and keep improving your game. Here are a couple of tips.
Play short sessions. This makes it easy to reflect on the hands you played. Learn from mistakes you have made.
Watch a video or a read a paragraph or two before you start your session. That helps you get in the right frame of mind.
Make sure you play at optimal times. When you are rested, well fed, no distractions.
Keep trying to improve! Good luck out there!

I agree.
I just recently got back online playing poker and those were the things I focused on...
except for the reading and video part.
I don't watch a video or read.....but sometimes I will go to a play money table just to play for a short while just to get my brain focused on playing.
I've only been back online for just over a month, I'm still rebuilding my deep tournament mentality. Playing for 6 hours or more takes conditioning.
About 3 weeks ago I started focusing on...
.01/.02 penny ring games, where I can stand up and leave when I want to...to clear my head, or just take a break. UNLESS the cards are on fire for me.
$3 and under 9 player SNG's that payout 3 players, that are usually under an hour to play.
(not always) I believe if you can train your mind to last an hour and finish in the money, the longer tournaments will become tolerable. It's a brain conditioning thing for me.
A muscle memory thing.
and lastly...
Low and Micro cash , 18 player SNG's that usually guarantee a 9 player payout.
again, I'm using it for a mind conditioning thing.
I beleive for new players...you have to establish your game at a micro/low level first.
Prove to yourself that you have the ability to maintain the mind set to sit long periods of card hands...FOLDING HANDS.
MY TOP SUGGESTION for the OP is.....
keep asking questions, and then apply what the established winners are telling you.
I ..am not an established winner.
I'm just an application in process, that plays poker.
good luck on the tables...
