I was looking for a solid answer about Fixed Limit Hold em. What is the suggested Cash Game buy in amount? I believe it to be 25 Big Bets but I think I heard that it may be 30 so I'm just looking for something solid to work with. 25 at times seems like too much or not enough but that could be my play. Also in a Fixed Limit Hold em cash game when would you suggest to leave. I know that is very vague but I'm looking for suggestions on a percentage of your buy in such as once you triple up leave for example. I feel like I play fairly well except I really don't think I buy in with enough and either stay too long at a table or not enough. All help is greatly appreciated.

If the betting is capped at 4 bets, you only need to sit with 12BB to have everything covered. So once you have over 12 you have enough, does not matter how much more you have as long as you have atleast the minimum to cap all streets.

Nice

Thanks that really helped me "See the Light"
Would you suggest that you add chips every time you get below 12 BB? Like if you fold your first BB & SB add 1.5 BB right away or is that way too overboard.

Definitely, what I do normally when I play is to have auto top up to 12BB in limit games and 200bb in holdem games. If you are on ftp or ps, it is in the options menu under rebuy preferences or auto top up.

when you cease to play your best or if you are tired of course. Most of the time it just depends on how you are feeling at that point in time.

I never really thought about it but i buy in for 30 big bets but it doesnt really matter how much you buy in for, as marginal said. As for standing up though, i dont think you should as long as you are winning. when you are up and have a decent size stack people see you as a better player and this intimidates the other players giving you big advantage. also if i win at one table and move to another i typically lose at that table so i have learned to avoid doing that. if you are losing though, i think that you should only lose what you want to lose in a session at one table then stand up but don't sit back at another table. you may be playing bad or have bad cards, both of which are going to follow you to the next table, at least in my experience. the only time i think you should switch tables is if a particular player is giving you trouble, in which case you should learn how to play against that type of player.
