OMG I JUST SAW HOW MUCH RAKE THEY TOOK; quite a lot compared to total size of pot.

Check the flop and treat it like a WA/WB situation (way ahead/way behind). Do a search if you don't know what that is, there is at least one good thread about it around here.

Played well as far as I'm concerned, raised preflop, c-bet flop, hit your card on turn, get value.

Yeah, def don't bet the flop.

I do like the fact that once you hit your set you kept betting and got his stack in. Your opponent played his hand 10000% worse than you did.
