I have a tough time playing heads up against tight players. i feel like i lose concentration with the constant folding then patience follows and its all bad and no good after that. any tips?

If they are playing tight/passive, they are folding too much - you should be putting some pressure on them and force them to play looser (hopefully out of their comfort zone).

Generally you want to counter their playing style with an opposite style. It gets really interesting when you are both switching up styles to counter each other though :)

heads up strategy

I am very patient heads up player. An extreme aggressive player can give me trouble, but I will push back hard with decent hands. The problem is that I won't always get good cards. In that case aggression will beat me.
So I will look for one or two big hands to break my opponent.
The battle is for control of the pace of the game, and that can be hard to get against aggressive opponents.:cool:

Playing against a tight player heads up is easy imo. You can steal so many pots off them, and when they do stand up to you they've probably got a big hand so just fold, unless you've got a big hand yourself of course :)
