How can you break "Pre-Flop Callers" in Low-Limit No-Limit?
By playing a selective, aggressive pre-flop strategy, I find the 'Sammy Farha' -style players -- who will call a preflop open/raise with almost anything -- very tough to beat. These people who like to see a flop, often times also like to over call on their draws. Strong hands like AK or QQ have to commit a lot of chips before and after the flop -- just to get outdrawn.
So, the strategy of raising pre-flop and betting on the flop is causing me to go broke. Small bets on the flop, can easily give these callers pot odds
. Checking on the flop seems to just give free cards to their raggedy hands.
Short of having to flop a monster, I'd like to have a pre and post-flop strategy for these kind of players.
