How should this be interpreted?
Here are the statistics from a limit hold'em freeroll I recently played on Poker Stars
125 hands played and saw flop:
- 7 times out of 15 while in small blind (47%)
- 7 times out of 14 while in big blind (50%)
- 20 times out of 96 in other positions (21%)
- a total of 34 times out of 125 (27%)
Pots won at showdown - 8 out of 13 (62%)
Pots won without showdown - 4
Playing 34 of 125 hands and winning 12 pots.
It seems to me that this is not a whole lot.
Yet it is typical of what I have been playing the last several weeks.
Is that normal game play?
Am I going through a streak of bad luck?
Or was I going through an incredible streak of good luck earlier?
I am puzzled.
