How to reraise TT,JJ or AKo from MP?
I play 10NL (Full Ring) and I am often confronted with doubt when I have to 3bet (or not?) and how much I should 3bet with, against a reg or a fish.
This is when a player, UTG or EP, makes a preflop raise to 3bb. I am in MP and I get a hand like TT,JJ or AKo. Most of the time I reraise around 3x the original raise but notice that when he calls, that I am often behind on the flop, so I am notsure I I played those hands correctly.
I want to accomplish that I end up heads up against the original raiser, so when I reraise it has to be enough to get the rest out and not too much to get the original raiser scared.
So, as a general rule/guideline, would be the correct action here? reraise? how much? why? and what would you do with smaller pairs like 77 or 88 or 99 ?
