It depends more on the number of hands played than on the number of sessions to see if it is profitable or not.

50k of hands already have an idea.

Yeah definitely 500 hours at the minimum and I even think that's too low. I'd say probably 1000 hours.

Gotta keep in mind that you only see probably 25-30 hands / hr so 1000 hours would only be 25k-30k hands. You can have some pretty decent variance in that sample size.

Good villain should be able to say in 2 hours max if you are a winning player?

Ok so im at $33 an hour rn, but its not nearly close to a good enough sample size [emoji23]

I read elsewhere that you won a jackpot. That's great, but it had nothing to do with your poker skills. I'm not sure if you are including that in your hourly or not?

Nope, not including that in the hourly, just nice to have a better bankroll

You can spot a true clueless fish pretty quickly, but there are players who lose $5/hour over the long term. It's not so easy to separate them from profitable players.

Almost all poker players suffer from a common malady – they overestimate the effect of luck in the long run. While anyone who is losing after 100+ hours is probably kidding himself when he blames his bad cards, because it is much more likely he's not playing well enough and aggressive enough to win. If you don't see an upward trend on your data graph after 100-150 hours ..., fuhgeddaboudit !! ..., you don't have much of a shot and be in for a surprise of a lifetime when you'll be losing all your money no matter how hard you've trying to win.
