I am thinking about grinding just on cash games during the week and for weekend take some % of my bankroll to play some nice MTTs. Can you give me some advice how many tables I should play for beginning? I'm starting with 100USD.

The less tables, the more you can focus on a particular hand at the time. More tables = bigger potential.

Man, play however many tables you feel comfortable at. I personally can handle 6 at a high level of play. Normally I 4-table.

It's not about building my bankroll up for me, it's about constantly making correct decisions, so my answer might not be applicable for you.

Good luck

I think playing more than 1 table at a time is hard. I do it on turnys cause I fold alot more but cash games some ppl play every hand so I cant focus one more than one table. if I was starting with a 100 Id probably start on .05/.10 with 10 bucks and try to make 20 to 30 and move up to .10/.20 with 15$ and try to hit 30 to 40 then move up to .25/.50 with that 30 or 40. You progress your self like that you will have 10 chances to make it to 100. If I made it to a hundred on that 30 or 40 Id start all over again at .05/.10 with 10. Hope this helps.

WOW ,100$:d . Just be carefull man, many tables , less focus in my hamble opinion ,better less tables so as to check who is who on the tables and find the weak players and the spots to take advantage .More than 2 tables cash games I never play , but if you are good at , do as you please .

What Ian the Fish said.
You play 1 table = you can make "plays", think over every action, see what your ops do.
You play 24 tables = you play TAG(basicaly you must) and you focus only on PT or HM stats.
If you what a rough estimate (although accurate if you ask me) this is good. You can count up what you could be making.
That being said I think you should try it out your self 1 table at a time and adding if you fell you can handle more.

Personal exp incoming: At micros you can play 18 tables and be winning good $. The ammount of A2o shoves or pulling 2nd pair for 1/3 pot bets till SD is astounding =)
The higher the limits - the better the players (obvs. I know). So playing more than 4 tables at 1/2$ was to much for me (but thats me). You can look on twitch or youtube that some players play zoom nl500 multitabling... I guess Im not that good or they are in some echo chamber =)

I've found that 4 tabling is the most I can do and still play well.

Any more than that and it becomes very ABC poker.

There is no pat answer to your question. You play the number of tables you can maintain concentration on. sometimes that is 1, sometimes 10. But the more tables you play, as indicated, means the less likelihood of playing poker and having to just play your cards. It also depends on whether you play max-6 or max-9.

As everyone stated before, but also a big part of building your bankroll is how you manage it, in order to build make sure you have 40-50 buy-ins for the stake you want to play, as variance can kick in and hurt you from time to time, even playing abc.

Well today I learned playing poker on phone is not good at all.. anyways back to your question one is good.. deposited on 888poker 30 USD and started to play 0.05/0.10 snap cash tournaments you can quite easily get 15 USD within 40 minutes. lots of fish especially during 23:50- 1:00 CET. Now it is 6:53pm and in NYC is 12:53 ..

Same thoughts, best way one table tournament and 1 or two cash games as for me.

If you're just starting out I think it's best to single table. Once you are beating a stake consistently then you can think about multi-tabling that stake.

I feel comfortable with at most four rooms per screen.

I think the most important aspect is to be comfortable with the numbers of tables. I also see two different strategies, the first is playing a lot of tables but only playing ABC poker, the second is to play only 2-4 tables at once (depending on what you're comfortable with) but playing with good focus and good read

All i'm going to say is, it's a very grey area.

Most people on here will say less is best and they mean well.

Keep it all open, find out whats best for you? Not others.

Sure it helps you concentrate just on 1 table, but remember theres pros and cons for both single tabling and multitabling.

Ask nanoko (team pokerstars) why he played 24 tables at the same time. I'm guessing what strategy he had but not sure

think its best to start small and gradually add tables, table selection is the most important part

I think for me I tend to play 2-4 tables at $10 or $25 buy ins...but if i start losing focus I tend top shut tables down to 1-2...but if I feel like im playing sharp and doing well usually 4...good luck!

I almost never play more than 1 table in the cache game at medium limits .. There were 4 tables at lower limits, and this is very addictive in the game)), on average I'm afraid to play so much, it's a pity but sometimes it's gambling is very scarce ))))

I would advise you to play no more than 2 tables .. all that becomes more difficult to keep the thread of the game! Good luck;)

Play whatever you are comfortable with I usually am comfortable around 3-4. If I am multi tabling and there are tough players, I bail out out of that table.
