If you are loose then as big as possible, when you bink you need to get paid to compensate for lower quality of hands.

If you have a decent BR, you want to cover them all.

100 BB ,but again depends on your playing style and how tight or loose table you are playing in.

Like everybody says at least 100 bb. If you can have more than 100 bb then you should have it. But there are guys who do extremely well with just having 40-50 bb. It depends on you skills and playstyle.

this is complete rubbish . Not reloading doesn't say anything about how well you have played . Say you get a 90bb stack player and get him all in on the turn as a 95% favourite and he hits his one outer on the river doesn't mean that you played the hand badly. but if you then continue to play with 20bb and get AA you are severely crippling your winrate when you win 20 bbs with it instead of 100bb if you had topped to full.

I don't play a ton online. I think that buying in short is ok until you figure everything out. When you first sit at a table you have no idea what is going on and what the table dynamic is like. I would say that after a few orbits you should top off. This is what I do live. That doesn't mean it's the best thing to do online though.

Forget about your buy in for a moment. Keep in mind if your a novice or trying to create a cash flow, you dont want to go in half way. BR management should be your 1st thought. So say you want to play the micros at say the .05/.10 level. To play that game and get through a thousand hands yor BR should be 200.00. That gives you 20 max buy ins at that level. You will get a good sample rate and have backing so your not playing scared. Good luck and have fun

100 bbs is the normal amount for starting any cash game. You should at least arrange 100 before procceed.
