How loosely do you call/3-bet from the BB?

I know this is dependent on opponent, but generally, against regs and fish. How loose do you defend your BB or see a flop with it? Say someone raises to 3BB in late position what are you calling with? Im usually calling with suited gappers or better and 3-betting with AQ offsuit+, is this bad? Just before I had 86h and completely missed and just folded to a c-bet, which made me think about ranges from the BB.

If we miss the flop in early position we're at a major disadvantage, especially with weak hands and any continuation bet from the villain puts us on the back foot.

Thanks for any thoughts and advice.

Sounds about right to me, sometimes I like flatting from the blinds with hands like AQ/AJ since villian is opening so wide he has a lot of KQ, KJ, K10,QJ, Q10, J10, etc. type of hands that are easily dominated and it is a good spot to trap.

Try to not play to weak of suited gapers like 25s because if you miss the flop or even flop a pair, you are out of position with a very weak hand. This will put you in a lot of tough spots postflop.

tight, very tight.

there are very few hands I am calling OOP. I am more likely to 3bet small PP than anything else that is not a premium hand.

1: playing OOP in a 3 bet pot sucks.
2: you should rarely fold the flop in a 3 bet pot.
3: the plan to call/fold is a bad plan. the plan to call donk is similarly bad.

tight is right.
