My play varies. In live games I tend to be more Tight-Agressive. This works well for me because I am decent at getting reads on people. I also believe this puts me in the most profitable situation. BUT online I tend to be Loose-Agressive. I am very disiplined. I dont call with absolute junk but I call with suited connectors, low pocket pair, or maybe even a Ax suited everyone once and awhile. Online this seems to be most profitable for me because I can throw away anything that's not the nuts but I can also bluff at pots when I notice certain betting patterns. I do try and keep my % of flops seen down to around 35-37%. But it varies on wether or not im catching cards. I was just wondering how do you play (online). And why does it most benefit you?

generally tight aggressive is the best way regardless of online or offline

as for calling with suited connectors its usually a case of playing the pot odds their value goes up in larger pots that you can get in cheaply

of course against limpers it can be good to take them in for a raise adding a bit of deception to your play

Try to get as much value for your marginal calls as possible

I play tight agressive. Since I play tourneys mostly .. it all depends on how far in the tourney I am. In the beginning everyone is desperate to double up so I play quality hands only. As soon as I am double the average chips I can get away with playing suited connectors and Ax.

It all depends on the type of table I am playing at. If it is an aggressive table I usually try to wait it out and pick my moments. At a tight table I try to push people around. I always start A game tight-aggressive.

for me it is 100% my table image at the time in the live games everyone knows me as a very tight player(folded aces twice in ten hands) and this plays to my strong of reading the situation, pouncing on opponents missplays. but when my image is that of a rock i play a lot more hands because i can bet them all, at start i play maybe 10% of my hands and later 50-60%. it seems to be the only way i can make money with my set of skills. online i'm explosive and have been know to attempt to steal with anything. quazie gus hanson but i also play tight when needed as it should be part of everyplayers strategy

I mostly play tight. Every once in a great while, I'll bluff. But, chances are, when I raise I have a good hand.
