You didn't get it... Here's an example:
My hand AQ and I am UTG with 100BB
I raise 4x and I got called. Everyone else folds
Pot: 9.5 blinds
Board : QdTd7c
I check, and villain bets 7 blinds, I raise to 22 blinds and he calls.
Pot: 53.5 blinds and what's left in my stack is 74 blinds
Turn card: 4c
At this point, I put villain on a Q with worse kicker or some kind of a draw. I prefer to take the relatively big 53.5bb pot right now or get called by a draw or KQ,QJ
If I bet something like 30-40BB on the turn, I am pretty much committed to the hand and I can't fold any bad river card, because I will have to pay only about 30-35BB to win a 120BB+ pot.
If I bet the full pot size on the turn, I will be left with 20BB which is against stupid and why not put everything when I will be putting more than half of the rest of my stack ??
