hi all. i been struggling with how to deal with a table like this lately. the casino that i prefer to play at is also the one where the players are almost always lag players. i have had mixed results there by trying to alter my play. im at 1/2 nl btw. standard raise for a big pp is normally 15-20. thats what basically everyone does. i have tried doing this with my big pairs and it seems like someone is callin me with literally almost any two cards. i limp sometimes, and this helps me at times, but basically, if i miss the flop, i know the garbage on the board will help my opponents. any suggestions on how to deal with a table like this?

TAG poker is the only way to play a table full of laggy players.
Limping in with PPs and betting your premium hands aggressively.

Play tighter than a crab's ass. (thats water proof)
and when you get a hand be aggressive ... you'll get action.
Laggy live tables can be lots of fun, big wins and unfortunately some big losses too sometimes.

I would play like a rock. When you do get those pocket aces raise reraise and raise some more. On unlucky fish will usually tag along. My other suggestion is to never allow them to chase their flushes and straights cheaply. They will soon realize your a rock and will hopefully fold a few hands to your monster raises. Good Luck!

play very tag. that's what i learned anyway. play the opposite of your opponents. you tag it up playin only top 5 or 10 starting cards.. your bound to win money off of those donks. gl

at such a table you have to play at first very tight. Then (later) you can switch your play into aggressiv. This will confuse your opponents.

great info but for the case of limping in can hurt cuz lots of people just play to see the flop u need to find want works for u! for people calling with rags and catching str. n fullboats becarefull!got to still bet ur stronger hands to keep rags out!thats just my thought on that subject.:D

At this rate put notes on the bad and good players so that you know what you are going against. If its one of the good players play more conservative, but if its one of those donks make it big preflop and all in on flop if you have a big pocket pair so that they know if they call on the flop they are stupid. Besides that play tight and hope for good cards.
Good Luck at the tables

Ummm, I would play pretty tight until i see a boss hand. But i would mess around with suited low cards in late position (button). I dont like to to play at an aggressive table, so id actually look for a tight table, if i see one.. well GL!
