I was playing a 2-5nl full ring tonight at the casino, i had pocket 8s OOP, raised preflop to $25, had 2 callers, flop was:
10c, 8d, 9d (cant remember if it actually was a 9... guessing not because i would have folded on the 180 with all those extra OE outs).
i check, next guy bets $75, next folds, I call
turn comes; Ad, i check, villain bets $180, i call
river comes; 8d
So im now sitting on the undisputable nuts, and hoping he had improved to a high flush from a two pair or top pair or a bluff, so i contemplated how to get the most out of it since we both had another ~350 left in our stacks.
I decided to move all in, and he folded after some time.
Should i have done a "bad" bet like $100, to seem as if im just trying to steal the pot with a weak flush or something, and have him shove over the top? or was i right to make the all in, in hopes of maximum value..
Also comment on whether or not i should have folded on the turn with the possible flush there. i had called due to his prior behaviour of big bets to steal since he had such a large stack.
