I just started trying to grind .05/.1 full ring. Im 10K hands in and i would say my graph has been pretty steady. My BR is currently at $400 and i decided i wanted to move up in stakes when i reached this mark. However, i am not confident at all. First off i am worried about the better competition. I realize 10k hands isn't a big enough sample size to make a good conclusion, but right now i am averaging 5.89 big bets per 100 hands. This worries me because for the stakes i am playing i know that is not great. I know that could go up over time, but it could also go down. Right now the majority of my hands are 3 tabling. If i move up i would definitely start off just two tabling which would make my game a little more productive per table.

Thats the situation here are my Qs

Does anyone know how much more difficult .1/.25 is to beat. Is there a difference at all?

If i stay down what would a solid BB/100hands goal i could have if i played another 10k hands (something realistic)?

How many hands do you need to play to be able to safely say you are a winner at that level?

Play at 25NL isn't a whole lot different than 10NL. I do feel there is a slight jump from 5NL to 10NL but in my experience there isn't that much of an adjustment. You need a lot more than 10K hands to really understand whether or not you are a long term winner, but I would suggest mixing your limits slightly, playing some at 10NL and maybe one table at 25, and compare your win rates. You'll start to see whether you feel comfortable or not fairly quickly.

There's a difference, but its not huge.

Don't set BB/100 goals, because random chance plays such a huge part of what BB/100 you'll have.

I can watch someone play for 2-3 sessions and usually get an idea of whether they'll beat that level. What matters most is that you feel you can exploit the players you're against, rather than how many hands you've played or what your win rate is.

I asked this question.. At a guess I'd say anything between 3-5 is quite reasonable and 5-7BB is good. If you're scoring 10+ then you're classed as "crushing" them from what I've been told.

No one is doing these type winrates over decent samples. Change your BB to bb and you're in the ballpark.
