does anyone else seem to make a killing during razz in mtt freerolls. It is not that complicated of a game but it seems less people know how to play it in some of these tourneys. I always pad my stack when i get to razz. Is it just my luck or does anyone else see this?

its easy

razz is an easy game..yes....but there are some advanced things to learn ....i wont share all my secrets....but it is very important to take notice of other players cards preflop....there are many times i have won big pots with 37 9 starting because other player have bad cards showing.....so keep practicing and maybe later i will share more of my razz strategy...it is a fun game though...i lov eit.

Yup yup yup. Razz is by far the best game in any horse tournament if you have any skill at all. It is very easy to read people's hands at a basic level and you will make a killing. Usually I lose about 10% of my starting chips up to razz, then double up at least.

First round of Razz, you should be playing anything where all three of your hole cards are 7 or lower, in addition to where your hole cards are smaller than any showing card. Just a basic guideline, and remember: razz is NOT a slowplaying game.

Razz

Many times I have padded my chips with Razz, but also on the Omaha hi/lo. Both games seem to draw chasers, and although I dont care for Omaha hi/lo, if i hit the low hand early its easy to build up the pot by raising with the low hand and catching the chasers fighting amongst each other when there holding trips or a straigt draw.

easy to play but hard not to get sucked out on by donk raising and capping each street chasing.

Nothing wrong with capping when you have the best hand. In fact, you want to cap when you have flopped the nut low, especially with protection. Usually you have some shot at taking down the hi pot, and much of the time even when you get quartered you can still pull a profit because of all the donks calling with two pair or whatever.

And you definitely don't split with the nut low every time.

I have the same results and since discovering it I have started playing in some Razz games and tournaments and have had good results so far. I also like to play Budagi.
