Hi all, I find home games a lot more frustrating and difficult because when you raise everyone always seems to call and it becomes a family pot I even try raising to 5-6x the big blind sometimes just so that it gets people out of the hand but they still seem to call and then after the flop I'm stuck on what to do! So should I just play very lenient and just accept that they call raises and just play straight forward ABC poker post flop? Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks

You just have to accept this. At home games or small live games like 1/2 people just limp and seem to limp a lot. I would just forget your preflop strategy and just play on the flop. If you hit your hand, try to make them pay. If you don't want to play like that, you will have to raise 5x plus because 2.5x or 3x doesn't work in live games.

Until you learn to adapt then you'll always be frustrated. Adapting is a very fundamental poker core concept. Almost as important as position and stack sizes and tells.
