I've just started keeping track of my play with HEM. I've only logged about 2,500 hand but my stats seem to be in line with suggested ranges. The one glaring hole is my multiway pots no PFR. I'm running -75bb/100. Any suggestion on how I can fix this leak.

Let me know what additional info is needed if any.

One idea is that I tend to limp w/ small pairs in multiway. Maybe somebody can tell me once and for all to not play them.

Small sample but how many of those are just you getting to see a free flop in the BB and then just check/folding the flop? Not really too much you can do about those.

Maybe you are completing too much from the SB in limped pots (the SB sucks so folding > completing)?

As for limping with small pairs, at FR I generally fold 22-66 from the 1st 2 positions and I will open raise them from everywhere else. At 6-max I open all pairs. Basically as my user tile suggests "open limping sux".

Filter by position and keep this in mind: folding 100% from non-blind positions will give you a 0 PTBB/100 for that position. Folding 100% from small blind will give you -25 and just check/folding BB 100% will give you -50, note these are Big Bets/100 hands. So if long term you are worse than those numbers at any position over a large sample where the difference isn't just a few coolers, it's probably a leak. What limit is this also?

First let me say, I really appreciate the feedback. This is my first post and the site is great.
The small sample size probably has some effect. I'm up to 3,500 hands and the stat has bounced back down to -29bb/100. I filtered by position and not surprisingly, sb is a big contributer at -98bb/100. I need to stop limping in with junk just because its 5 or 6 to 1.
The big surprise was on the button. I'm running -677bb/100!! Should balance out with increased sample size but after reviewing the hands I discovered that I'm overplaying the position. Limping in let several people draw out on me as well. I guess the lesson is raise or fold.
Zach, I saw an old thread where you were offering lessons. Do you still
do this? I would be interested in some feedback once I get up to 25,000 hands or so. I'm currently playing .05/.10NL. This is called 10NL right?

SB limping was a huge problem in my game until someone said, 'a piece of junk is a piece of junk.....even if you are only paying 1/2 price'

If i am going to play the SB, typically i am coming in with a large raise. Hopefully that will drive everyone else out or at least get it to heads up. Everyone once in a great while you are going to fold the winning hand pre-flop. That is nothing to the mega-thousands of hands you are going to check/fold.
