Playing pocket 3 in late position Live table. Limp in CO after UTG limps in. BB raises 4x. BB very tight nitty player that I played with and only plays and raises preflop with QQ or higher. UTG calls UTG player I have no experience with. We are all about 50-100BB deep. I call hoping to set mine the BB. Three to the flop Flop is 3s Ks 7s.
UTG makes a 3/4 pot bet I call BB reraises UTG goes allin I feel like folding here. What do you think? I put in quarter of my stack into the pot aready

Well pot should be around 225 BB (75x3) to call that, otherwise easy fold on all spades flop.

even if he did flop a flush, you still have 7 outs to hit on turn or river

You can't fold here. Stove results for plausible ranges for both:
Hand 0: 33.805% 33.44% 00.37% 24456 270.00 { 3c3d }
Hand 1: 30.048% 29.68% 00.37% 21708 270.00 { KK+ }
Hand 2: 36.147% 35.78% 00.37% 26169 270.00 { 77, AsQs, AsJs, KcQs, KdQs, KhQs, KsQc, KsQd, KsQh, KcJs, KdJs, KhJs, KsJc, KsJd, KsJh }

Basically KK+ for BB and 77/a handful of made flushes/and a couple TP with FD hands for UTG. $$s in the pot and 3-way action makes this an easy call.

You have 7 outs on the turn and 10 outs (if you miss the turn) on the river to hit a full house/4 of a kind (I believe my counting is right here). Since its a 3-way pot and the pot is huge, I don't think you can possibly fold here.

Yes thinking along the same lines....I think I have BB range beat except for KK. UTG might have the flush and thats is what makes me feel like folding..lets say Im behind to a flush .....do I have enough outs to call?

Tourney or cash? If you had a really strong read that you were beat I say fold bottom set, even if the math is close. Also if you think it's set over set already, and then some of your outs are gone.

It's a cash game I feel I have BB beat but not UTG I suspect completed flush. I also suspect one player might have As flush draw as well. I convinced myself i I think I have 38% equity in the pot with FH outs and decide to call

I'd say your equity is a little less than that BUT with the $$s in the pot already and the fact that it's likely to be a 3 way all-in, I don't see how you can fold.

I would say that Sori has it correct.
As WV said I think your equity is closer to 34% (not sure of my math) but it's still a favorable hand.

Did you call? did it work out?

:cool:

After thinking for a while I call UTG He had my stacked covered. I was hoping to have BB call as I figure my 1/3 equity in the pot was worth it only if BB called. BB called as we both had his stack covered
My hole cards 3d3c. Flop 3sKs7s. then 6d6h
UTG turns over As10s. Thought I won the pot. BB turns over KdKh.
I was actually drawing dead. I really had one out the 3c.

Did the BB pull a check raise after raising preflop? He is repping his KK big time here. The only other this tight nitty could could have is AA with As.

Headsup this would be a tough decision, with UTG in the mix and his strength as well, I think I have to fold.
