When you're playing Omaha And your hole cards are either:
#1- 4 of a kind or
#2- 4 of 1 suite
Do you automatically throw these out or are they worth a flop? I think the Quads are a definite toss, but what about 4 like cards spread how ever they may be?

Both of those situations are going to be folds the vast majority of the time. Maybe suited bigslick is worth a play or a big pair with quads. In other words thr top 2 or 3 possible hands in each situation might be playable..Just don't OVER play them

Quads are the worst starting hand in Omaha, seeing as you're drawing dead to anyone with a higher pair. AAAA is a decent bluffing hand in some cases, but you won't get dealt it often enough to make considering strategy for it worthwhile.

Four suited cards reduces the value of your hand too because you're holding two of your flush outs.

Love Omaha one of my favorite games. Both instances fold, except second one if they are something like 6789, 10 J Q K, etc... and you can call without any raise happening.

reason i say call on second option is because of the straight possiblities and the outside chance of the flush, nice to see a flop with that if it is cheap enough.

Something to keep in mind with Omaha, it is a river game deluxe. You cannot play it the same way you do Holdem or you will find yourself losing more than winning.

Omaha is all about getting or drawing to the nuts.

#1-4 of a kind. What do you need to improve your pair? 4 to the flush, 4 to the straight, 3 of a kind in the community cards for a full house. I don't like those odds of improving much.

#2-4 suited cards. You are in ok shape if they are connecting or maybe on gap (789j) but unless they are high you will be looking at the bottom end of a straight. You flush chances have dropped from 9 cards to 7. That is what you are really looking for in most cases. You can still play this hand but your odds of drawing to your flush are down by 2 cards.
