So I've played around with a few different games at FR, 6-max and HU, and I enjoy HU PLO(high) and want to pursue it a bit more.

I like playing on poker stars, and most of my BR is on Stars, but their lowest HU games are PLO50. If I was to consolidate my whole BR to stars that would only give me about 30BI's, which from what I've been reading is not enough for a HU roll at that stake. And even if it was I wouldnt feel comfortable pretty much starting out at that level without alot more BI's.

So what are peoples suggestions? Play heads up SnG's on stars until my roll is high enough? Use my party poker account instead and play their lower stakes HU cash games?

Thanks for any replies

If you are a solid player with good win rate 50 BI will be good, but 30 for sure is not enought a short period of bad runs and bad beats and tilt, you lost you entire BR. HU only the winner get the money so id recomend 75 BI +. i play HU NL SNG and grinded the way up, recomend doing the same thing.

Thanks for the reply. I had a few bad beats after running up about 6 BI's, ended up losing them plus 4BI from my BR so I decided to head back to 6max to build up enough to play. Tried HU SNG's, not a fan

Always preferred heads up $ compared to the HU SNG.. Than you have to rationalize w/e chips you start with as the money rather than watching money dwindle away and add up..

HU PLO 50 is like the pits of hell. Rake is too high and its just a hard game to beat As a result

Stick to 6max and try starting tables additionally swings at plo can be intense so bear in mind that bankroll needs to be on conservative end
