Hi everyone,

I played my first HU cash session at $0.25/$0.50.

I know it's a small sample size but I'd like some feedback on my stats and some advice on what are good stats for this format. Should win rate be measured in BB/100 like normal games?

Buyin: $50
Session close: $62 ( at peak: $75)
Total hands: 355
Hands won: 185 (52%)

Thanks in advance :)

Hey SN,

I'm not a HU player but general things apply to all games.

Your samplesize is way to small to draw any conclusions from. Especially about winrates. With 350 hands you could somewhat determine if your preflopstats are in line as its HU, but even those will be highly affected by variance.

As for general HU stats I would look online, there should be plenty of free content around. If you are starting of you could simplify a strategy by taking your regular 6max chart and discounting the first 4 players. This won't be perfect, but will give you a solid baseline from wich to work with.

Yes, winrates are also measured in bb/100.
I just plugged in your sample into a variance calculator and this is what it says, given your 355hands/ 15bb winrate/ 50bb observed winrate discounting any tilt keep in mind.

That's really helpful. Thank you for the pointers. I'll do some further research :)

it is best to draw cells on paper, for example 10 by 10, and in each box play headzup of the same buy-in, writing down the result in each box, victory or defeat. And this way you will have net profit statistics
