Hi all,

So, standard opinion would be to raise the button every hand unless we have a reason not to, fine.

How would this range change if the villain is calling pretty much every hand?

Say for example they call 80% of my raises, should I just make the raise with top 70-80% of hands? If so what would I do with the rest? limp or fold?

Any thoughts welcome

my opinion should raise more like 5x or 6x on button if same player keeps calling make it profitable if u end up winning the hand.. the rule i find dont make it cheap for them to come in and if they do it gonna cost them

Surely this approach would mean they just end up calling with the top of their range? therefore me having the worst hand at the flop more often. Not sure how this helps.

Any experienced heads up players out there?

if he is calling every hand, min raise or limp any non-premium hands and raise premium hands big. Bet big on flop if you hit or have a draw. Eventually he will get the hint, and then you can start opening your range.

I assume this is cash?

I guess it depends on how villain is post flop; I mean, if he folds to a ton of cbets and plays very fit fold then continuing opening a lot of btns is going to be profitable, you shouldn't have to decrease your opening percentage.
