I'm headed to Vegas tomorrow for the wsop circuit. I'm a good tourney player and I just starting to dabble in cash. I can hold my own at $1/2 and $1/3 I'm technically a winner over a pretty low # of hours. (70 hours I realize its a very low sample size but it's what I've got.) I'm making an average of $9 an hour after tips.

I'm not sure how to equate that to BB/100. assuming $3 blinds and 30 hands an hour I'd be making about 10BB/100. Is that how you do the math there? anyways I won't lie I've run pretty good at cash but I've also seen about 100,000 hands or maybe more in tourneys so I sort of know what I'm doing.

Obviously I'd like a more touristy game. The circuit is at Planet Hollywood and so I figure I'd rather NOT play cash there since it's likely to be filled with regs. where should I go? and yes, I'm rolled for $1/3 before you ask. :)

Bellagio, Wynn and Aria have the best poker rooms in my opinion, with Bellagio being my favorite.

well those are definitely the best and nicest rooms I'd agree. but mostly I'm looking for the best chances of favorable tables. bad players etc. Bellagio and Aria seem to have tougher players as far as I know. I don't know about Wynn.

Red Rocks

Red Rocks is way west, but has a reasonable poker room with many live tables - I play there frequently. In fact, I caught a slice of the bad beat pot one time there (I'll save that for a stand-alone thread).

It's definitely a locals place, but you'll occasionally see a face you recognize :-D

I went to Planet Hollywood for the Circuit in 2015.

Action was EXTREMELY fishy there. Unless things have changed, here's my list, from best to worst.

1. Planet Hollywood.
2. The Venetian.
3. Bally's, was fishy, but also was nitty because of some free roll promotion. Had to play wild to get the table to start gambling.
4. Bellagio was ok, but more grinders, more competent players.

This is all 1/2 and 1/3 only.

I've read good reports about the games at The Orleans.

My list 1/2 no limit
1) Orleans - easy parking - mostly locals a few tourist and pros.

On strip
Parking & traffic always a pain. Most locals stay off the strip unless pro.
2) Mirage - mix of tourist and pros
3) Bellagio - Customer service sucks as a small game no limit player you are a after thought. A mix of tourist and pros.
4) Winn - only played once and game was short and Staff kept sending new players to other 1/2 tables. I have heard good things about the room, but I did not experience it.
