having a low WTSD% playing TAG

In reviewing my last few sessions I noticed that my WTSD% is at 10.5, and I've read in a few different places that a TAG style should be shooting for around 25%. I understand the reasons/leaks for having a high WTSD%, but I'm not too sure about analyzing a low WTSD%.

A few other related points are:

W$SD% = 50.0
Overall Agg = 2.75
Flop Agg = 4.0
Turn Agg = 0.5
River = n/a

Also, I felt I was particular card-dead in these sessions and was relying more on position and flop aggression to win pots. Could this be the reason for the low WTSD%? Is a low WTSD% bad? Can anyone suggest other stats I can look at to further analyzing this situation?

Sorry if these are basic questions, but I'm just starting to use HEM (which I absolutely love!) :)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Around 500 hands and W$WSF = 50.0

Sample is too small. Showdown stats take forever to converge.

Oh, and stop worry so damn much about having optimal stats. Just fix the actual leaks in your game.

Yeah 500 hands is really nothing. 10-20k would be a good start to analyze them. the vp$ip/pfr converge pretty quickly but as c9 said showdown stats really aren't relevant here as it's almost all going to be a result of luck. I mean over 500 hands you probably see the flop ~15% (maybe higher, maybe lower, just an estimate), so 75 you take to the flop. 10.5% of that is about 8 and 25% of that is about 18. So a difference of 10 hands. Say you're in the BB and get trash but it's limped to you. There's one where you see the flop and probably don't reach showdown right there. Just those kinds of hands where you really need to see a lot more hands before it becomes relevant. That said if that number stays at 10% it definitely is low imo.
