Can you show a screenshot of the history of your game on this day?

I confess that yes, I have played higher limits than allowed by my bank, usually these situations occurred post bad, to try to recover a lost value in the course of the day quickly, playing a high buyin cash, spin and go, or expensive tournaments. And I inform you with full certainty and experience; IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA. Be cool as a poker player has to be, accept the losses, and most importantly, in the bad phase, minimize your losses, and in the good stages, maximize the gains, enjoy making the biggest profit of the best hand, playing convincingly and without haste.

I tried several times to jump over the limits. Everything went sadly. I realized that in micro limits I still have to sit, for the most part.

Huh, I am finding myself doing this very frequently at Spin & Go's

When I am playing my usual 0,25 or 1,00 spins, and things are going in wrong way - I instantly jump to 3,00 and 7,00 spins - in order to overcome the losses :p

Only one time it went disaster, and loosing my whole BR, the rest of the times: gain my BR back fully or partially :D

Yes I have played a lot higher than expected of my bankroll, but it is not a great idea if you want to have a stable balance. A couple coolers and a downswing and you risk having a $0 balance :(

If you have extra money to throw in your account you can raise the stakes, but if you are depending on your current balance I would take it slow and steady and use proper bankroll management. Your wallet will thank you! :D

But it works sometimes, I've won 0.8Euro in a freeroll once at iPoker network, played cash NL2, in like 15-20minutes it was 2.5Euro. Moved to NL4 with 1.6Euro, in 1 hour i had 9Euro at this table and moved to NL10, ended up with 45Euro there. Moved to playing MTTs and spent these 45 for two 20Euro tickets, time well wasted...It happened just once, so don't take it as advice, cause i've tried again and again and failed at all sites where i've tried it, so it's better to play by bankroll.

This story that you mentioned was have many! Successful players are very few, and the path to success is very long! Especially at high stakes there are players who are professionals! You need a lot of time to move to a higher stage of development in poker!

Yes it is tempting to play higher stakes a couple of times had a 100 dollars to deposit and went straight into 2 x 50 dollar game or 1 100 dollar tourney most of time lose but couple of times have won 1000 2000 3000 over 5000 and biggest hit of 11200 in one knockout tournament need to work on my patience

I think this happens more often than not. Players are looking to grow their bankrolls quickly. Same thing happens to me quite often. I just feel 1/2NLH plays so much different than 2/5

The program will not allow just one day to stay at least 2-3 limits, rather siege or reset. Sometime ago I happened to do, but now it is a rarity, although there are examples, like the guy in the cash for an hour jumping on the limits filled with 20 to 1,000+

I find I play a lot better at 50NL, even though my pokerstars balance says I should be playing lower (it is $700 though so not absolutely perilous).

I'm a lot tighter (in a good way), I think more, I pay much greater attention to position. I also find that my opponents are (majority anyway) much less likely to be playing junk hands, more likely to fold when they only have a weak draw and so forth.

[In my experience] At micro limits players play basically anything, call anything, and pull miracles all over the place (thus fueling a belief they are playing well when their hand hits).
I feel at home at 50NL, even though someone with my limited experience should probably be playing lower.

Short answer: yeah, I'm climbing sooner than perhaps I should but I'm sick of the nonsense lower down.

Iv went up quickly before & done pretty good at it. My two biggest cash outs in online poker was like that. I started out with$50 playing.10/.25 then before I knew it I was playing$5/$10 with $1500 on the table. Once I cashed out$800 & once I cashed out 1200

Oh boy, I think everyone has gone down this dark path once or twice. I remember I was playing on 888, put in like 10 bucks and somehow ran it up to over $200 in a span of a few hours. Thinking I am the next D Negs, I decide to join a $1/$2 table ( I was playing 2cent/5cent & 5cent/10cent) and was immediately eaten alive. Slow and steady wins the race, I always like the rule that you only play with 1-3% of your roll!
