About the hands - In the first hand i am making a crying call on the river with three queens as i think our hand is too strong to fold. If he has our hand beat then i don't mind paying him off.
In the second hand i would have 3bet pre flop. As played if i don't mind the fold on the river. :icon_geek

I think they were both well played....

Why you didn't 2-barrel the turn in the second hand? In those stakes people are most likely to pay for draws and reraise top-pair.

Hand 1 - call please.
Hand 2 - 3 bet pre flop or raise him on the flop. Fold to further aggression.

I do the opposite of some of the posters above.

First hand fold
Second hand call

In the first hand your opponent has to be worried about the possibility of you having a flush in that spot. That will make him much less likely to bluff. This factor is a key point to this hand. I don't think people are 2x pot bluffing there often. There are people who do it, but I think a majority of the time it is going to be the flush there. There are a decent amount of heart combinations that would play this way. You may see straights and sets play this way as well. The less strong the hand the less likely your going to see it played this way.

You are really just praying for 99 or 22 for 12 combos. JT is 16 combos just by itself. Include some heart combos as well and you aren't winning enough to call.

The second hand your opponent could easily make this play with a broken draw. The price is too good to fold here. Notice the bet-check-bet line is also a common bluff line. The K on the river is actually a good card for you, because it decreases the chances of him having a king. He may assume the same for you and decide to bluff, because of that.

Hand one i think its pretty easy fold, villain or made his hand when you hit the Q maybe (villain - J10) OR he is flush drawing with some kind of pair, this check raise after flat the flop is sick and i would fold.

Hand #2 I think its a call but you should reallly 3bet pre flop with QQ, i think his range is pretty wide after the way he played the hand but i can put him on good J maybe AJ or some kind of draws that he missed with the K showing at the river his J seems even stronger, so maybe its a call.

first hand is a bluff, holding a set of queens is a snap call, if hero had reraised the turn villain would have folded

villain didnt have the flush (most probably had folded at the flop), and the only hand that could outbest yours was JT

second hand pay also, with 2 kings on board very unlikely he had the other one

Folding was the right thing to do. He either had KK or a straight draw with J10 and his betting is evident of this. I would have folded the river too, and decisions like that are very heartbreaking, especially with a set of queens. Judging from your details it shows that mercenary didn't raise pre-flop, so doubtful he did have them KK's, and limping with a J10 would seem reasonable and his betting made sense.

The second hand was really well played. I wouldn't have played it any differently really. You won the hand and probably got the most money out of your opponent.
