Who has played only 2nl to reach silver star on pokerstars... is it possible? Assuming time is no issue here, I can play the hours that are needed, unless the hours exceed 24 which is your standard Earth day :p I have 45 vpps so far and 28 days to go. I can 24 table 2nl, but how many hours a day am I looking to have to play?

Jesus. Worry about win-rates and moving up.

Silver star will come when you get higher, but winning money should be your goal not paying rake.

Yeah, if you're 24 tableing 2nl.... I mean, why? Jump-up to 5nl, play 18tables, and you're still way ahead.

I think it is possible but I wouldn't bother playing more than normal just to get it.

Like others said: less tables -> better winrate -> improve -> move up

I used to worry about silverstar statues, but I'f I'm honest..it's no different at all.

Absolutely no point mass multi tabling 2nl just to reach it, drop the tables, to like even 6 and learn to beat the game. You will move up quicker to 5nl and in turn earn silver star quicker at 5nl/10nl.

It is very possible by the way to earn silver star at 2nl.

ps: Why do you want silver star ?

Ok guys, while I understand that moving up the stakes asap and learning to beat the game is the wiser thing to do, it doesnt quite apply to me in the same way. I've played on pokerstars since 2008 and played all stakes from 2nl through to 50nl. Of course I was a losing player, and it is only in the last 2 months that I have learned BRM and multitabling. I have now shown a steady profit for 2 months.

I have been playing 5nl for the last 2 weeks, it was going well, but I can only manage 5 tables profitably and I even though I am MORE than rolled for 5nl, I still hate losing $5 if the hand doesn't go well. The plan is, to grind out 2nl for a month so that I get an even larger roll, and really really see that "getting it in good" 100 percent is winning poker. I know it is, but I still hate suckouts or being card dead, so 24 tabling 2nl will educate me.

I also want silverstar because ive been playing on pokerstars for 4 years and never reached it, and it's bugging me. Once ive got it, I can earn fpp's faster as well.

I really cant MASS multiable 5nl, I lose track of whats going on. How do people do this? 24 tabling 2nl is easy,
>see as many flops as possible cheaply
>stack off with monster. #

5nl ?

What do you plan on using FPP for that you need to earn them slightly quicker?

My end goal is to be able to multi table the low stakes for a decent winrate. However, for just this one month, I am going to put that aside as this is just something I would like to do.

Thank you good sir, I am just finishing my mid day meal, and then the day really begins. :D I need to earn 25vpp's a day. I think it's improbibler, but not impossibler. (Southpark reference)

So if you get silverstar on the 30th you'll have one day of multiplier. It so isn't worth the time if that is why you want it.

I'm in the US so, yeah, no PS for awhile now, but doesn't it carry over to the next month (the multiplier, I mean). So, if you earn it this month, you have it all next month and if you fail to retain it in that month you drop back down. It's been awhile, but I thought that's how it used to work when I played there.

Does it? FFS, I've had 700ish several times and not even bothered trying to get more. I must have pissed out about 1000fpp by now :(

How can you even keep track of 24 tables? What size is your monitor? How many monitors do you have?

Yeah, the silver star carries on for the next month.
" As soon as you reach a VIP Club level, you will receive all the benefits associated with that level for the rest of the month AND for the whole month that follows."

I have a 24inch monitor. It's a powerful gaming rig, I used to play games competitively. Anyway, you don't need to tile 24 tables at 2nl, just stack them on top of each other.

Ok well, not sure why but yeah...even 6 tabling 2nl for 6hours a day would probarly do it.

I've always been silver star and tbh, I don't think any of the VIP system is worth the grind at the smallest stakes...vpp/fpp really only become relevent when you're actually earning a decent amount..
