Great read and great hand
This one doesn't go into brags because I didn't play it, just watched it but I really loved the hand.
Table was me and a reg across the table and between us fish, some tighter, some looser but all fish. I fold, fish limps, fold, reg raises, fold, fold, fish calls. Flop brings a ace and flush draw, fish checks, reg bets and fish insta-calls.
Now... fish insta-call with two things: monsters or draws but mostly draws. Tighter fish slowplay the monsters and looser fish usually shove the flop. This guy was had around 80 VPIP so I thought to myself that he was on a flush draw.
Turn brings nothing, fish checks and reg... SHOVES! It would never have crossed my mind to do that but I guess that he had the same read I did and he was positive the loose fish would call if he had a flush draw and even any ace which obviously happened. Fish shows 82s, reg shows AKo and river is nothing.
I really loved this hand. The reg extracted full value from his TPTK against a villain that he knew would call that shove any day with a draw or a weak ace. Doesnt' need much math to know that, if called, this is a winning play against such a drooler.
