just wanted to post my graph of my progress. I play pretty nitty tag leaning more towards the tag style of play by playing solid. play 2nl and just moved to 5nl as my bankroll is above 150. Any advice about my lines will be appreciated. am i playing the right style for these stakes or should I literally be playing ABC poker? Thanks :)

I can't see your win rate but your graph seems to be moving in the right direction and your red line also seems decent considering the amount of calling stations at the micros, so well done.

In my opinion yes TAG ABC play is the best approach for the levels you are currently playing at. Fancy play is wasted as majority of the player pool at 2NL are only thinking of what 2 cards they have in front of them.

As you start to move up a little higher in limits then slowly try and add in a few new things like light 3 and 4 betting, semi bluffing your draws etc. Also when doing this you have to do it against the better players who are actually capable of thinking beyond what 2 cards they have in front of them.

35K hands is not the biggest of samples but it is pretty clear that you are beating the level and it is not just a heater.

I would suggest maybe posting some of your stats and also win rates by position so people can dig a little deeper and see if they can see if and where you could do with improving.

Seems solid to me, nice redline. You should be able to beat NL5 pretty well imo. Although it seems your last 3k hands you were not really playing A-game at all, SD and non-SD winnings both down. What happened there?

3K hands mean nothing mate, I am not saying that he/she was not playing their A-game or has not tilted for that part of the graph but you could play your A-game for a lot more than 3k hands and still be down/break-even even when you know you are a big winner at that level.

I have only played micro stakes myself (4-50NL) but remember once having at least an 18k hand break-even strech at 10NL when I had results to show I could beat the level at a decent win rate over a significant sample of hands (100k+)

I know it's a ridiculous small sample, but in this last 3k hands (right after winning few big one's) he is running more or less on EV from there so didn't get any big coolers or suckouts against him (which is where downswings starts imo with tilt as result..) and both SD and non-SD going down, so somehow makes me think he didn't play his A-game.

Lets see what OP has to say :p

I was playing yesterday and yeah I thought I was playing solid for 3khands just seemed to be running into opponents top range of hands. Which put me into some sticky spots etc. which made me fold a little more and call down after some of opponents line didn't add up. Thanks for feedback guys really appreciate it but overall I thought I was playing good just cant do nothing at these moments I guess :)
