Recently began playing limit games. Doing much better with respect to chip bleeding and losing buy in stacks. Anyone else have the same experience?

I find limit is good if I am on a bad streak, it stops me from going all in and I step away easier. But I much before NL because I can wait out the bad streaks and capitalise when the cards are good.

I'm playing whatever I'm winning at.

PokerStars often creates incredible situations on the river. Setting a limit is a good way to minimize risk.

Limit is a game of pushing small edges over and over again.

So even if you of course don't lose a whole stack in a betting round the variance can be brutal, and the losing steaks can be very long.

But if it suits your personality and you like it more you should play it.

that's the ticket

I'm more comfortable with limit games than no limit.:damnmate:
I was playing $3-$5 NL with a $1500 buy in max and a $500 bet max. The rake was $4/$3. Which I don't believe is beatable. Then I switched to $30-$60 limit with the same rake structure.
