I want to know everyone's opinion on when it is appropriate to fold TPTK in limit HE. Assume low limit 2-3 players including you see a flop and you hold AK. You hit your ace but get raised by a player with position on you. Do you just call here or do you re-raise? If you just call do you check call to the river or do you lead out the turn if a blank comes? Give me some situations where you would fold TPTK in a low limit HE game either heads up or with 2 others in the hand.

It really depends on the texture of the flop for me.

- Is there a flush or straight draw on the board? How complete is it? (did it flop all suited?)
- Is the board paired?
- What are the blinds? How deep is your stack?

In limit, I'm re-raising here if the board doesn't support anything stronger.

this is applicaple only to limit HE. any situation you can come up with you can answer. I.E. if the board is paired do you give him credit for trips and fold or do you check call to the river? If the board is 3 to the straight or flush do you fold or see another card? how about if your kicker is the same suit as the board...do you chase? Keep coming up with senarios of when you should fold, when you call, and when you raise.

TPTK is slim holdings in FLHE, when I meet resistance like that I tend to call it down and only RR if I improve. I am conservative though. Having said that my decision on what to do here would have a lot more to do with what I've observed of the opponent rather than just the cards.
