I'm viewed as TAG on table. Effective stacks $400 each ($1/$2 NLHE). I raise to $15 on button with KQ (off suit). I get four callers. Flop comes KQJ rainbow.
I bet $50 and get one caller (Aggressive type). Turn comes blank 4. I bet $70 and he shoves remaining stack of $300. Set, I don't think so. A/10 maybe but doubtful. 10/9? After deliberating for two minutes, I fold and he doesn't show.
Thoughts??

tuff decision but i have to call ! villian can have hands like KJ,QJ and hes protecting is hand.. Sets here are hard for him to have because if villain had KK QQ he would probably 3 bet Preflop and there is only one combo that beats you which is A10 but i think he mostly calls turn and bombs river

no there is no A10 for sure !!!! allyna he was protecting his 2 pair against a possible straight or set on the turn river

i actually dont like the bet on turn.... was there any flush draws on the turn???

i recon villain has AT or a set. Rare to see a worse 2pair doing this but its possible...

i can see AA spazzing tho but no raise pre... vills either got AT or set of jacks

its not impossible for worse hands but its just not as common as we wish... if ur known as weak tight or doesnt like big pots and gets scared ez i can see weaker hands doing this by better players but not many are gutsy enough to do this without a solid read

I doubt very much that the villain had A10 and decided to go all in at once, could have had something like KJ, Or maybe AA

Without knowing the full table dynamics, I think you may have made a solid play with the fold. The pros really talk about how it is sometimes the sign of the really solid player to make the big fold. Sometimes you make the wrong decision, so your opponent may have shoved AK, because he just doesn't believe you have as strong a hand as you do. Sometimes, you go with your gut, and do what seems the correct move for you at the time.

I used to fold there, but have seen such weird stuff show up that I now call.

I think if you are certain that he is a loose player then your read could be on and therefore folding was the smarter choice. If you have a read on them they most likely have one on you so maybe if you are known to fold to big bets on the turn then this is why they made this play. Sometimes you have to call just to show them you are willing to go to a showdown and with a loose player on the other end this was your time to make a stand.

Tough decision really.
What was actually the villain action before the flop? You said 4 callers, so its both blinds and 2 limpers?

Interested to know what was villians position at table in hand? Also smells like possible QJ/KJ to me but who knows.. Have seen people shove this board with many hands.. All set combos don't make sense here unless he is the type to slow play from EP or the blinds.

Maybe a set of Js or a set of 4s. Trying to protect his hand and at the same time get maximun value. I think u made a very good fold. In some cases it could be A10. He could also have 2 pairs or even AK but you we more likely dfacing a set or a straight A10 or 910 since he was a loose player. But I guess sometimes you could call if u know this player capable of shoving with draws or 2 pairs.
