I might fold 77 UTG sometimes in full ring, but I'm opening 22+ 100% of the time 6-max. If they are calling you light, you can usually get them to fold to a c-bet on a scary board. Sometimes you just collect the blinds. Sometimes you hit the set and stack up. Most of the time you miss the flop and it's an easy check-fold. hands like 22-66 play super easy post-flop and you'll rarely lose a lot of money with them unless it ends up set over set.

I'd open 55 utg and if I get reraised probably a call to see the flop. If I hit a straight draw or set I'm continuing if not I'd probably fold to a cbet

to each their own

with no pre flop raise utg id call just to see the flop depending on the other players at the tables style. if i know utg +3 raise every time id let it go its just such a weak pair 8s+ that mid mark where i like to start but even with 8s ill let it go if they preflop i start calling on 10s but im a patient player

Opening 55 UTG in 6max will probably be marginally profitable depending on your postflop skills. It's definitely near the bottom of an UTG opening range but if you aren't comfortable playing OOP on boards with lots of overcards then perhaps you should pass 55 UTG.

The only way to know if a play is profitable is to play it thousands of times (or more, ideally) and evaluate the results. If you personally aren't showing a profit with it then there is no shame in passing and working on your game so that you are able to profit with it.

I'd call 3-bet if reraised I would just fold most of the time reraise means 55 is no good to play.

I´d open 2x with 55s, depending on the table and stack. Short stack is all in.
