This is more of a general situation I find myself running into both live and online. It def depends on the villain but I often find myself hitting TPTK (like AK hitting either and Ace or a King on flop) but the board being 2 of same suit and/or having st8 possibilities.
In these spots I'm almost always betting 3/4 to pot if it's 2 or less villains in the hand regardless of position. Now if a known gambler/fish 3,4 or shove bets me I know I'm likely beat by some 2p or set but if an aggressive but tight player pops me on a bet I'm often unsure where I'm at.
How do you play TPTK on a drawy board facing 2 or less villains? Do you check OOP and bet pot IP? Do you call or 4 or 5 bet their raise if you do bet and they come back at you?
A lot of people say when someone 3 bets you on these boards even if the cards are a low junk, you're TPTK is no good.
Thoughts?
