What does everyone else think about this situation?
There's no good answer with the info given. Could be ANYTHING.... especially if you're playing freerolls
. Someone might be bullying you into thinking he's got a higher pocket pair, flopped a lower set - or maybe they have q-10 and feeling good about one of their 2 overs hitting. Or maybe they're so used to all the donk play, they think YOU'RE trying to steal the pot, and a re-raise is they only way for them to find out. And when you end up folding, it might confirm in their minds that you bluff a lot.
Or (as likelier late in a tourny or a real money
game) maybe they DO have A9, 2 pair or a set. Late is also where you'll find better players who might get read you to some extent. Try a little self-analysis (do you mix up your play?). I sometimes do better when I get more aggressive, but admittedly, often I have to force myself.
