Im confused about the whole Pre Flop Flat call. If i hit a marginal hand such as AQ - 99 and someone raises me is flat calling that bad to look at the flop or should i be Reraising him in attempt to steal the pot their or atleast have pot control. And if the person Four Bets ofcourse im folding seeing im probably against KK AA. Someone please help?

Pocket pairs and AQ are good hands to flat preflop.

You can also 3b with them profitably sometimes too...

- Against BTN opens from villains who steal lots it can be more profitable to 3b small PP's than call to setmine - because their range contains weaker hands it will be harder to get paid if you hit s set.

- Against villains who call too many 3bets and play fit or fold on the flop you can 3bet AQ profitably.

Like you said, these are hands you should generally fold to a 4bet.

I would like to put a few examples here taking the stats of 2 different players to try to understand what can be the right range of 3betting or flatting to use.

3BET 8
FOLD 3B 56
CBET F 42
FOLD CBET F 30
CBET T 5
FOLD CBET T 40
WTSD 32

OPPO 2
VP 15
PFR 14
3BET 8
FOLD 3B 75
CBET F 83
FOLD CBET F 51
CBET T 72
FOLD CBET T 33
