Hey everyone! I recently redeposited at stars after a long period of studying through cardschat, books, videos and others...and some freerolls and live games of course. I deposited 50$ and played the 0.10 (20-50bb) 9 player ring games on stars and built-up a nice amount but kept yoyo-ing and am currently at 80$.

Now, even though I was completely against the use of online software because I found it unfair (and still do) since it's not used in real poker, I needed the edge the other players had at the table and mostly needed a graph, some stats, and hand histories that could be re-studied for flaws...

In this aspect I must say that PT3 is great for finding leaks in my games and fixing them. Can't believe I played so much online poker against players who have this while I don't...Anyway, Installed the software after some minor difficulties and set it up with pokerstars and played a small session so I can discover its features and such.

Now, I don't know if I'm missing anything in the program itself (I use the summary, the graph, and the hand replayer mostly) but I'm sure as hell I'm missing some stuff in the HUD and this is where I need help.

It shows with VP, PR,and AF (and I thought there would be much more stuff). Anyway I think VP is hands played? I know PR is pre-flop raise, and AF stands for something to do with aggression? At the end of my good session with PT3, I had 33VP, 30 PR, and 3.0 AF (106hands) which is pretty solid poker I think. But I still think I'm missing out here, how do I add other features?and which features should I add? For other players It'd sure help to know how much he c-bets, if he folds to 3-bets, if he folds to steals, if he often steals etc...

So I need some help and suggestions as to useful HUD settings from the PT3 users. Thanks :)!

VP is actually "Voluntarily Put money in the Pot"
In other words how many times you entered a pot when you weren't in the blinds (I can't remember if it includes the SB)

Read this https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-software-tools-61/special-1k-post-holdem-manager-stat-166475/

Is a stats guide for Holdem Manager but stats are the same for PT3, you can learn values on each stats and help to decide wich you like to use.

For how to set any stat in PT3 you could to go to PT3 forums, surely you will find there how to set all, also when you buy PT3 i guess should have a setup guide too.

I use HM (i think is better than PT3) so can´t help with setup things.

Just came back from a relentless bad beats session that made me break even!Still at 80$!

Anyway, Your guide was great TPC! PT3 is one hell of a program and I started using the HUD meaningfully today...Think I woulda been up much more if it wasn't for an awful streak of trips getting beat by FHs and people hitting their 3 outers after their donk call...Though I reviewed most of my hands and found that I also made some mistakes.

Nvm,thanks for the help everyone :)!This software is great, hope it helps me build this bankroll faster and safer...
