Ever get gun shy in limit games and not push it?
There are times when I am playing low limit ring games where of course no matter how much I raise the pot being limit I can't get the calling stations to stop chasing of course. Then after being burned on the river card suck outs over and over after raising and re-raising trying to get a good pot value built up I get this pull back. When I get good hands and even hit the flop I get to tight and don't push it because I fear the suck out caller 3 spots down. So instead of playing to maximize my earnings I play to limit my losses to the suck outs. I know this is not a good way of playing. Do you think I am just allowing a bad streak to affect my play when I do this and I would be better off sticking with my push it up mentality and wait for the odds
to take over?
It just sucks not to be able to shake anyone off their crap cards in limit and then push it up all the way only to have them hit their miracle on the river time and again.
