I've only scoped out the huge rebuy at UB with a guaranteed prize pool of $5k. That kind of guarantee makes it tough to hang in there, the field is huge.

This is different, there should only be around 300 entrants. Should it be okay to rebuy once and add-on? It doesn't look like many of the entrants are rebuying because when I added up the prize pool it read like several only bought in the once.

There is lots of threads about this, and lots of discussion.

It all adds up to the same thing, regardless of what your opponents do. Always rebuy and add-on.

Thanks. I was just hoping if someone could tell me if expecting to have a chance with only rebuying once and adding on is being too hopeful/conservative. That's not quite the same as wanting the strategy broken down.

No Fair! They keep moving me to tables where I'm not getting dealt cards and don't have a chance to play at all!

No I mean I wasn't getting dealt anything at all. Literally no cards.

Now I'm getting dealt no cards in the literal sense, but I'm keeping my cool.

Someone explain to me why the tournament leader with more than 38k in chips spent good money to add on a mere 2k in chips. I don't understand the reasoning, it can't make that big a difference can it?

I added on, but was so short I almost doubled up. There's a very big difference there, I think.
